Machine OperatorLocation All AucklandAuckland Job type Full Time Salary 23 to 26 Category Manufacturing/Operations > Machine Operators » » » We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced machine operator for a role located in Paerata. This role is a permanent full-time role available ASAP with a company that manufactures goat-milk nutritionals. The company is currently expanding and looking to add to the team that looks after the packaging plant. The starting payrate for this role is between $23.50-$26/hr. A $15 shift allowance is given to all night shift employees. The current roles we are recruiting for are Monday - Friday, 15:15 - 23:45. The successful candidate will be based in the packaging plant and required to assist with the day-to-day operations as well as look after the packaging machine. The responsibilities will include » Packaging products via one of the packaging lines and to ensure that documentation, labelling and presentation are completed accurately for export preparation. » Be responsible for the packing process and monitoring key performance indicators such as rate, average weight, damage and on time product. » Responsible for ensuring the packing room is cleaned to standard on a daily basis. » Achieve customer requirements for product quality, specification and delivery. » Manage the operation of metal detection as per NIG HACCP protocols. » Liaise with production staff, maintenance staff, quality staff and logistics staff to ensure the smooth running of the shift. » Ensure all record keeping is accurate, complete and timely, and meets GMP standards. The successful candidate will ideally have had experience in a food-manufacturing role; however this is not essential. Experience in a similar role within a packaging plant would be beneficial.
