Building powerful partnerships between wh?nau, communities and educators will help raise aspirations and lift progress and achievement for all learners. We design and deliver initiatives that helps make that happen. About the function We have two Senior Advisor positions in our Parent and Community Information team. Senior Advisors are responsible for: » progressing the initiatives and projects within the work programme (rolling your sleeves up and getting the work done) » providing high quality advice and guidance across PICI and the wider Ministry (knowledge evidence, having an opinion on it, and sharing Information technology with others) » Being solution focussed responses (Finding ways around or covering issues, problems or barriers that stops us from getting the work done). About you We’re looking for people who: » are passionate about improving results for tamariki, rangatahi and wh?nau » have a practical knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the aspirations and needs of ?konga M?ori, their wh?nau, hap? and iwi » bring ideas to the table and turning them into something useful » effectively challenge thinking and support innovation » is good at planning.
