About the function: We are pursuing applications from diligent and detail-oriented individuals with a very strong customer service focus to join our team in Auckland. » As an Electronic Monitoring Centre Operator, you will be responsible for the real-time monitoring of individuals enrolled in specified restrictive justice programs. » Your primary function will be to closely monitor electronic tracking devices, ensuring compliance, maintaining accurate records, and promptly responding to any alerts. » This position requires excellent communication expertise, strong attention to detail, and the capability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. » Through collaboration with external stakeholders, you willeffectively communicate (by email, and phone) and ensure seamless monitoring services, whilst maintaining accurate records of participant activities, including incident reports, compliance records, and significant documentation. » This is a full-time function involving rotational shift work 4 days on 4 days off to cover shifts across 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, 10pm to 6am, weekends, and public holidays to ensure 24/7/52 monitoring coverage. The job will require prolonged periods of sitting and close attention to monitoring screens and may involve exposure to sensitive information. What you need to be prosperous in this function: » Prior practice in a similar function such as an alarm or security monitoring, control room monitoring or customer call centre is essential, » any exposure to a justice or law enforcement setting would be advantageous. » Excellent communication expertise, with the capability to interact professionally and empathetically with participants. » Strong attention to detail, capability to multitask and the capability to effectively document incidents and maintain accurate records. » capability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team environment. » Able to work methodically to a routine, following prescriptive Standard Operating Procedures, yet able to flex to reactive activities that require the capability to ?think on your feet'. » Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly under pressure. » Proficiency in computer applications. » Demonstrate ethical behaviour, integrity and adherence to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols. » A strong work ethic and punctuality are a must in this function. advantages: » Aside from a great team environment, we provide a remuneration package commensurate with practice and qualifications, » With the opportunity for professional growth and development in the growing field of electronic monitoring. » You will work within a collaborative work environment with a dedicated team committed to public safety, with access to full training and technology.
