The function You will act with a deep level of specialisation supporting a set of products and systems to help maintain the availcapability of the Information technology service practiced by end-users, and continually improving troubleshooting expertise and the mastery of fault diagnostic tools used in the support and maintenance of these systems. tasks » Provide Level 1, 2 and some Level 3 advanced technical support » Assess client requirements; quoting and provisioning of products, services and solutions » IT services include email, public & private cloud hosting, backup, server & network implementation & support, web hosting, security, operating systems, application software and system management tools » Provide both remote and on-site end-user support » Contribute to after-hours support service and 24/7 on-call roster » Answer incoming calls and emails promptly and either action, transfer, note message or log jobs » Assess client requirements; quoting and provisioning of products, services and solutions expertise & practice » practice with VMware » Advanced expertise in the latest versions of Windows Server and Desktop O/S » Proven network practice and familiarity with routing and VPN » Proven practice with high level implementation and issue resolution » Excel in client service and communication » Linux expertise desirable, but not essential If this sounds like you, please send your CV to Cherie Hill by clicking Apply now.
