Factory SupervisorLocation Papakura & FranklinAuckland Job type Full Time Salary to Category Construction & Architecture > Site Mgmnt/Foreperson/Superv. » Varied and challenging role » South Auckland location - parking at the door » Small team - great culture Our client, a specialist in security fencing, is seeking a suitably experienced and qualified fabricator/welder who may be looking for the next step up into a supervisory role to support the Factory Manager within a close knit factory team. In return for your hard work and dedication they offer; »Competitive remuneration »A friendly team culture »Training opportunities in a supportive environment Your day to day duties are varied and will include: »Managing fabrication team »Quoting jobs and advising on work plans »Ensuring the yard is neat and tidy at all times »Complete complex fabrication jobs »Scheduling to agreed time frames »Site measurements »House-keeping of all factory equipment and tools »Adherence of the team for H&S procedures »Fencing and Gate experience (desirable) To be successful in joining our client's business you will demonstrate you have: »Proven work history of several years in a fabrication business »A Welding Certificate - highly qualified »Ability to interpret plans and drawings »Excellent written and verbal communication skills »Good knowledge of computer systems including excel »Leadership experience managing a small team (needed) »Forklift Licence (desirable) »Full NZ Drivers Licence »Flexibility to work both on and off site »NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident You will have a positive 'can do' attitude, be ethical, and honest, and have a good sense of humour. You must have high attention to detail, great customer service, be methodical, and have the ability to prioritise, while collaboratively working alongside your team.
