About our group
The Resourcing Group is responsible for delivering operational funding and staffing entitl ements to nearly 2,500 schools. We administer annual payments of approximately $5.8 billion to Schools and Kura.
We provide high quality financial advice and support to Schools and Boards of Trustees. We ensure Schools and Early Childhood centres receive correct resourcing entitlements through our Monitoring programme. We provide resourcing operational policy advice and guidance and produce one-off solutions to resourcing issues. Our Resourcing Contact Centre also provides direct telephone and email support to Schools’, Early Childhood Centres and the general public.
About the function
We have a great fixed-term opportunity for an practiced Lead Business Analyst. this function sits within the Equity Index (EQI) Implementation team which is part of a Ministry-wide programme of work.
The EQI Implementation team are leading the transition and embedding of the Equity Index into operational delivery. The key focus for the function is to provide work planning and management over multiple business analysts within a project which covers several business groups.

About you
As the ideal candidate you will need to have a minimum of four to five years’ practice as a Lead/Senior Business Analyst and bring a range of expertise and practice in the following areas:
   » practice and expertise with agile delivery methodologies is a must have for our current teams
   » practice in planning and managing the work across multiple BA’s and business groups ensuring the key stakeholders are involved
   » Excellent relationship, communication and writing expertise
   » You will be practiced in analysing complex issues and developing effective options for action
   » Success in gathering and analysing business requirements across different user groups and provide advice on business solutions
   » Ensure that the team’s practice and processes are in place and updated and regularly reviewed and maintained
