Job Description

The Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand (MHF) is seeking an Individual Giving and Relationships Team Lead to lead a team within the overall Fundraising team. If you're a talented and practiced fundraising leader and want to be a part of taking us to the next level, this is the function for you.
The function is responsible for developing key programs such as direct mail, regular giving, digital fundraising, and middle donors. With relationships being a key focus within this function, the position will also supervise and guide the strategy, development and execution of the relationships, major donors and bequests programmes.
As a team lead you will be responsible for superviseing, supporting, and coaching the Senior Relationship Fundraising agent to implement, evaluate and continuously improve the delivery of the above strategies and operational plans. You will ensure workload is allocated appropriately, programme KPI and targets are met, and provide advice and support where necessary.
You will have:
   » 5+ years' practice in fundraising practices
   » Proven practice developing and growing Individual Giving and Relationship Fundraising programs
   » Demonstrated capability to supervise, mentor and coach staff
   » Demonstrated project management, practice, and skills
   » Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
   » practice in developing and delivering effective fundraising strategies
   » capability to manage the production of fundraising and/or marketing materials

this function sits within the Mental Health Foundation's Fundraising team and reports to the Fundraising manager.
The income will be commensurate to the prosperous candidate’s skills and practice for the function.

this function is located in our Maungawhau (Mount Eden, Auckland) office although we are currently working in the house.
