M?ori Midwifery Liaison and Student Support/Clinical Educator
Fixed Term, 0.6 FTE
An exciting opportunity to work within Te ara ? Hine – Tapu Ora at AUT. AUT is New Zealand’s most contemporary university, with a unique profile reflecting our history and innovative approaches to teaching, learning and research. AUT University’s School of Clinical Sciences seeks a M?ori Midwifery Liaison and Student Support/Clinical Educator.
We require an practiced M?ori midwife with a current APC. You will be expected to share your skills with the students with a ‘wrap around’ approach, facilitate student learning, encourage problem-solving, effective participation within the team and reflective practice within the student group; give encouraging feedback to students and assess individual student progress. You will also be given the opportunity to provide clinical skills in curriculum development, interprofessional learning and teaching. The position is located at AUT South Campus, and the prosperous candidate will be expected to work on-site.
