The function » Work across and interact with the integrated design and development teams to understand how the systems work » Handle a range of products and services across the portfolio to ensure that the published content is of high quality, accurate, significant, useable and accessible for end users; and managing the uploading of content and maintaining the repositories that our content resides in. » Write procedures, guidelines, and system instructions in plain language to convey complex information in language appropriate for a number of diverse audiences. » Build relationships with subject matter experts and Service Designers to craft great content and intuitive user practices » Work collaboratively with the Manager Content, providing technical leadership abilities for the development of a content strategy across, and within, each of the portfolio’s products • Lead large and complex pieces of work and projects involving multiple design components. » Use research, analytics, evidence, user feedback and best practice to develop an knowledge of user needs in designing and developing new content, and in analysing existing content to identify and address any gaps » Opportunity to work alongside some very talented people, including international partners, all working towards the same goal Benefits » Flexible working » Flexi-hours » Competitive remuneration expertise & practice » Must be a New Zealand Citizen before applying » Excellent stakeholder engagement, able to influence and lead Senior Information technology stakeholders » broad practice creating well designed, accessible, and usable content for websites, online and print resources in a government to citizen context » Significant practice in digital content management practices, web standards and their application » Working practice with content development life cycle using SharePoint, Gather Content, Promapp, CCMS • Good knowledge of NZ Government web standards (accessibility and uscapability) How to Apply?
