Dairy Farm adjunct:Job description:Dairy Farm adjunctPayment: Accommodation & Paid ($20 negotiable depending on practice)Job location: Oamaru/Kurow Region: Otago/Queenstown/Wanaka practice: No practice Necessary Listing Added: 01/10/2021 We are seeking for someone to join our team whilst we wait for a staff member to return from overseas. We are sharemilkers on a dairy farm in the beautiful Waitaki Valley. Oamaru is our closest town, with the beaches, lakes and rivers all close by. Ideally Somebody with practice riding a motorbike and some practice with stock would be valuable. All other training will be given. We milk 850 cows through a 54 bail rotary shed, we have 3 other staff members in addition to ourselves. Main tasks involved will be bringing cows to the milking shed, milking, putting up electric fences, assisting with young stock, weed spraying and general farm tasks. Ideally we would love someone to join us through to January and possibly longer. We live in a beautiful part of the country with plenty of opportunity for further job opportunities close by.
