Learning and Development Facilitator

The Employer
Our client has been established for over thirty years and is going through a growth stage. A social services organisation that looks after the needs of their clients in the community by providing caring support to individuals in their homes
 
The function
Learning and Development Facilitator providing a range of variety that include but are not limited to:
   » Deliver high quality training to field staff within the Hamilton and Tauranga regions
   » Ensure the orientation and attendance of new support staff is implemented
   » Core training is delivered in conformity with agreed curriculum and timeframes
   » Undertake administration tasks – including training schedules are in place and staff trainings are recorded
   » Ensuring your knowledge of best practice is up to date
 
About you:
   » Certificate in Adult Teaching or People Management or equivalent (preferably level 5 or above)
   » Current full drivers license
   » A solid knowledge of the principles of adult learning
   » An knowledge of significant Health & Safety and Employment legislation
   » You will have great computer system expertise and be practiced in the Microsoft office suite: Word, Excel etc.
   » An interest in people in the community, as this is a social services environment
   » Be empathetic, with a very clear telephone voice, able to quickly grasp what is required, to take notes with great recall, maintaining confidentiality and privacy
   » An interest in the health and discapability sector would be appreciated
