An opportunity is available for an practiced risk professional to join a high performing team on a contract basis until the end of 2021. This is a first line of defence function with a broad remit to manage the risk & compliance reporting requirements, incident management and resolution programme, implement, and enhance, a strong risk management culture and connected behaviours and assist the business to meet their requirements under the Risk Management Framework, including risk profiling, controls, reporting, business continuity and insights. The function is also responsible for leading from the front and taking additional responsibilities in upskilling and building capabilities across the risk managers. To be considered for this key function, candidates should ideally have at least 7 years of significant practice gained within the financial services sectors including practical exposure to the full range of the operational risk toolkit, including managing the risk framework, compliance, analysis and reporting. You will require prior practice in prosperously applying the elements of the ?Risk Management Lifecycle' within a business operation or project management context. From a personal perspective, the function will require the capability to build credible and influential relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
