They manufacture and market a comprehensive range of wood-based building products. The Nelson division is currently looking to employ a kiln operation and forklift operator for their branch based in Brightwater. Your role will include: » Loader operating and Forklift driving » Kiln operations (Running kiln settings and heat plant machinery) » Meeting the daily production targets set for the team. » Ensuring quality standards are met. » Improvement ideas identified and communicated. » Prompt reporting of hazards, incidents, accidents and near misses » Relevant paperwork is completed in a timely manner to meet company standards What we can offer » Rostered work, never worked more than 2 days at a time » Starting rate of $27 per hour » Internal/external training and career development » 40 to 50+ hours per week » For permanent applicants we can offer an excellent benefits package including overtime rates, superannuation and corporate medical INTERESTED?
