Gastronomy:AUTJob description:Job DescriptionApplications are invited for a permanent, full-time Senior Lectureship in Gastronomy with the School of Hospitality and Tourism, Auckland University of Technology.This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished cuisine specialist to utilise their expertise and skills to contribute to the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programmes in the School of Hospitality and Tourism and to work with a dedicated team developing cuisine-related academic programmes and activities to enhance the reputation of both the School and Faculty of Culture and Society at AUT. The prosperous applicant will be expected to contribute to teaching a range of courses in the areas of gastronomy and wine studies. In addition, the applicant will have significant expertise and practice to teach culinary arts and contribute to related academic and professional activities. candidates will hold a recognised culinary or gastronomy qualification and have broad industry practice, including that of training and supervision of learners. Candidates will embrace the vision and values of the School and commit to continuing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme.
