ACC is seeking a new Technical Team Manager (Support and Capcapability Services) As a Technical Manager, you will lead one of ACC’s teams of Technical Specialists to provide effective support to frontline decision-makers and internal stakeholders. These specialised teams are focused on supporting our decision-makers to help people recover faster and improve the lives of those with long term needs. They do this by ensuring consistent and correct decisions are made by ACC and providing quality guidance that’s timely, easy to understand, valuable and consistent for our people. We are seeking for a confident communicator, who will bring energy and enthusiasm to the function. Your positive and pragmatic approach to leadership abilities will support the continuous improvement and development of the team and its relationships across the business. From time to time you will be called upon to offer support to high profile or complex cases and this is where your coaching and strategic problem-solving expertise will be put to good use. Ideally you are an practiced team leader looking for your next step into a Team Manager function where the expectations include the capability to lead well independently, deliver on key projects, navigate complex cases and support our teams in collaborating with other key services including Client Recovery, Clinical Services and Resolution Services, so excellent interpersonal expertise are a must. You will be a confident leader, aware of your strengths and how you bring them to your function each day. You will be adept at helping others see the connections in the work they do every day and our purpose of improving lives every day. Crucially, you will have the following: » Solid practice leading a specialist function, preferably in a large complex environment » practice in leading larger teams of approx. 10 » Apassion for coaching for performance and development » Proven capability to generate a continuous improvement culture » capability to vary working and leadership abilities style » Strong business judgment and decision-making capabilities » Collaborative working style and the capability to lead with integrity and authenticity And, you will be maintaining the following: » Aproven people leader who drives a culture of performance and responsibility » A great relationship manager and communicator » Acritical thinker with the capability to quickly grasp topics and concepts We offer a supportive working environment with flexible working options of up to two days work in the house. The function is competitively remunerated – the midpoint of the income band is $130k plus a further 9% superannuation.
