The Health Quality and Safety Commission are recruiting an practiced database developer, to design and develop a futured-focussed data environment for the Health Quality Intelligence team. This team plays a key function in the Commission’s responsibility to improve New Zealand’s health services. Its purpose is to make the Commission stronger and more effective through being the acexpertised NZ leaders in measuring, evaluating, and commenting on the quality of health services.
The primary purpose of this position is to design, develop and maintain a data warehouse in SQL server. We are aspiring to automate the management of national system measurement reporting cycles and will be looking to leverage your expertise and practice to ensure a future-proofed data environment with requisite data management processes.
We are seeking for someone motivated to work with a team to develop an internationally renowned health system quality reporting infrastructure that will be recognised as an asset to New Zealand’s health sector. Your technical expertise will be essential, and you will thrive on technical problem solving through to resolution. Working with the senior project manager, your first-class interpersonal expertise will ensure the team of developers and data analysts are guided and mentored all over the change in their working environment.
The Health Quality and Safety Commission is a stand-alone Crown entity with a Board responsible to the Minister of Health. The Commission is responsible for assisting providers across the whole health and discapability sector, both private and public, to improve service safety and quality and therefore results for all those who use these services in New Zealand.
