Pick Packer - AlbanyJob location:Auckland Rodney & North Shore Work Type: Temporary » » » »ASAP start; continuing temp function 4-6 months, permanent possible »Mon to Friday, 8.00am – 4.30pm, extra hours avail »Very reliable international company, great work conditions, uniform provided The company » My client is renowned worldwide in their field, and their practice is in supplying solutions to the New Zealand construction industry. » You will be located at one of their modern Northshore Warehouses, assisting the team of 20 as a Warehouse adjunct. The function » This is an continuing Temp assignment (eg 4-6 months) with the possibility of permanent employment should you also be interested » Primarily in outwards goods, you will be in this Despatch area fulfilling orders, picking and packing from different sections (no Forklift use) using a Trolley, lifting reasonable weights (16kg average, occasionally up to 25kg), wheeling to the Packing belt and assisting the team there when needed too (the majority are parcel stock, put into bins for Freight co collection) » Good accuracy of output for picking is required and is more important than speed, as a steady consistent approach is appreciated » Dangerous Goods training for one of the specialist products is provided You » You will be a team player, a steady reliable worker who enjoys being more physical, ie walking, picking and lifting product in your Warehouse shift hours Offer » An induction and training » Great comfortable uniform eg Sweatshirt (please provide your own steel capped footwear) » Free street parking » Extra hours on offer eg to 7pm in the first week of the month usually » Great culture, eg monthly catered meals and terrific, supportive management » Smart lunchroom, well equipped with outdoor area Please click “Apply Now” !
