We are currently seeking a Digital Channels Lead to join our Communications Team to provide guidance, skills and support to ensure digital platforms used by the Royal Commission support the delivery of its work programme and achievement of the Terms of Reference goals. As a Digital Channels Lead, you will be responsible for the following: » Developing high quality digital advice for the Royal Commission and support the delivery of results for the work programme » Develop and implement a Digital Channels Strategy and Digital Channels Framework to strengthen and broaden the Royal Commission brand, enhance our digital engagement with Survivors and lift the user practice across our digital platforms including the website » Contribute to continuing development of the overarching Communications strategy and individual initiatives by ensuring a digital perspective is reflected » Supporting the Royal Commission’s hearings through oversight of the live streaming process Skills and practices: Some key skills and practice We are seeking for include (but not limited to) the following: » Good knowledge of the function of the public service, the machinery of government and the independent function of a Royal Commission » Excellent written and oral communication skills and relationship management » Confidence in cultural and discapability approaches including tikanga M?ori » Five plus years’ practice within a digital/communications environment » Website technical and content skills (including editing and publishing) » Basic video editing and production practice and availability to develop further in this area with appropriate support » Team player » Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focus About us: The Inquiry is investigating the abuse and neglect of people in state and faith-located institutions between 1950 and 1999.
