We have a great 18-month opportunity to support Ara Poutama Aotearoa on our journey to embed a programme of ambitious change within our People Services function. We are in search of a Chief People agent to support our Senior Leaders as we go through this change, embedding a new modernised service model and updated technology whilst continuing to establish a high performing people function and delivering on our core business - people.
this function is responsible for driving the people and culture strategy in an organisation that puts people at the centre of its business. The Chief People agent has the mandate to think differently ensuring our people are at the core of the strategy.
About you | M?u
As an practiced Leader of Senior Leaders, you will have demonstrated knowledge and practice along with the demonstrated capability to deliver a new service model across a people function which includes a new Information technology deployment. You will instinctively empower your team to deliver across the wider People and Capcapability function. You are courageous and passionate about growth and will be aligned to our values and H?kai Rangi strategy.
You will have a highly developed strategic approach to managing complex issues, work comfortably across the executive leadership abilities team and demonstrate superior relationship management and communication expertise with our most senior operational leaders. Ensuring we are able to operate effectively within Te Ao M?ori and Te Ao Hurihuri contexts is central to our success. You will be regarded as a natural leader and display either an existing capcapability, or strong availability to lgain more Te Reo, Tikanga, and have a solid knowledge of the treaty as Information technology relates to the criminal justice system.
In return, you’ll join an organisation building momentum to create foundational change within the Corrections system in Aotearoa. You will be joining a senior leadership abilities team and wider People and Capcapability function with a strong sense of purpose - with a passion and excitement for the work we do.
