Job Offer: Advisor | Integrity Ethics and Standards:Public Service CommissionJob description:Job DescriptionTe Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.The Integrity, Ethics and Standards Group provide system leadership abilities to promote a strong unifying culture and high standards of integrity across the public service. We are seeking for an Advisor with analyst capcapability who can support our diverse and ambitious work programme. This is an opportunity to provide operational and policy analysis, design and deliver interventions to influence change at a system level, and to contribute to high-profile projects that fit your expertise and interests. You will have strong interpersonal expertise with practice working in building relationships. You will be a critical thinker with the capability to deal with ambiguity and problem solve to formulate a solution. With your excellent communication expertise, both written and verbal, you have the capability to present complex matters simply. In this function you will be supporting implementation of public service reform, including to nurture the spirit of service that public servants bring to their work and supporting agencies to uphold public service principles and values. We do this in several ways, and you could be working on things like: • supporting agencies to ensure high standards of conduct and integrity• supporting the development and implementation of open government initiatives • providing high-quality analysis on a broad range of integrity, active citizenship, and open government matters. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an agile, dynamic team undertaking challenging, varied, and important work in a collaborative and inclusive working environment.
