About the function We are pursuing an energetic highly motivated practiced Senior Test Analyst to join our Rapid Deployment product group.The team looks after a diverse range of about 20 applications. Some are te In years old; others have just been released. Some support the work of a single team and others are used by people in partner organisations and by members of the public all contribute to the work that the Ministry does to support New Zealanders. The team is professional and practiced and uses modern software development and Devops practices. We are serious about our work but try to laugh about everything else. This is your chance to utilise your well demonstrated testing expertise in this large and complex environment. An overview of your Job responsibilities: » Coordinate and manage planning of the system and/or acceptance tests, including software security testing. » Provide high quality, expert advice on any aspect of test planning and execution. » Define test strategy across projects. » Manage all test processes, including test plans, resources, costs, timescales, and deliverables. » Build strong trusting relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. » Ensure a high standard of testing is performed. What you will bring to the function: » Proven testing practice in complex environment. » You are comfortable with technical testing. » practice in Test Data Creation. » practice in using CONFLUENCE, JIRA. » You will be be able to coach and mentor other team members. » An knowledge of Tosca and automation is an advantage. » Practical knowledge in Agile projects and in DevOps delivery. » Exposure to the Scaled Agile framework (SAFe) would be a definite advantage.
