We're on the lookout for an organisedgo-getter to join Massive in its 30th year to manage and deliver our workshop and company activities programmes.
The Programme Coordinator (Kaiwhakahaere H?taka) will work closely with Massive's General Manager and Artistic Director to manage and deliver administration, operational and some marketing aspects of Massive Company's core business, including the delivery of the annual workshop and activity programme.
This is a part-time, permanentemployment function - approximately 25 hours/week - with a flexible start date (before end of 2021).

Key Areas of Responsibility:
Workshop Programme Management, Marketing & Administration
   » Ensure the smooth running of Massive's annual workshop programmes and other core company activities
   » Work alongside Digital Channels Manager to develop and deliver a marketing plan to best ensure all workshops and company activities are well attended
   » Manage and maintain the registration process and manage communications with participants from the point of registration through to post-attendance follow-up of events and activities
   » contact with key partners of the workshop programme (venue managers, schools, etc) to manage all bookings and communications with venues and partner organisations
   » Manage the budget for workshop expenditure (venue hire, materials, etc) as set by the General Manager
   » Maintain support material for teaching artists and participants including workshop booklets, feedback booklets, Health & Safety material, participant rolls and workshop gear
   » contact with teaching artists to co-ordinate the practical running of each workshop, including ensuring their timely access to support material, venue access keys/cards and Health & Safety information
   » Maintain the filing system to keep accurate records of all significant Health & Safety documents and workshop information, including attendance numbers and demographic information supplied by participants
   » Compile feedback information from workshops and maintain filing of these records
   » contact with Production Producer(s) to assist with any marketing tasks (social media, etc) for annual Massive productions (as needed)
   » Attend designated events as Massive liaison and manage the smooth running of public showings, company events and other activities as required

General Business
   » Maintain a central company calendar of events and activities, including all significant venue and teaching artist details
   » Maintain the Company contacts list
   » Assist Digital Channels Manager to maintain the general database of all contacts needed for Massive business (as needed)
   » Maintain filing of general company materials
   » Book venues for rehearsals of productions (and manage comms) in advance of a production producer being contracted
   » Support the General Manager in administration of general business as needed, including compiling statistics as requested for reporting
   » Attend Massive Company Trust board meetings and record and file minutes of meetings in a timely manner
   » Purchase, order or request office or other supplies as necessary
   » supervise and facilitate access to storage facility when necessary
   » Other office tasks as determined by the General Manager or Artistic Director (within reason)

Desired expertise and qualities:
   » Well-organised to develop, plan and work to a schedule, ensuring all tasks are achieved in a timely manner with attention to detail
   » Able to be proactive and anticipatory with planning and critical thinking expertise
   » Comfortable working across several tasks or projects at once as necessary
   » Great with adhering to systems and processes for easy workflow management, as well as being able to implement new systems when necessary
   » Excellent written and verbal communication expertise - practice in writing copy in conformity with a brief will be a huge advantage
   » practice in working with and managing social media and other digital platforms
   » capability to self-manage tasks and work efficiently
   » Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
   » expertise of the arts, not-for-profit and/or charitable trust sector
   » A great sense of humour will give you bonus points :)
   » Must be a NZ citizen, NZ permanent resident or hold a valid NZ work permit
