This role is an ongoing role with an excellent company leading the way in electromagnet manufacturing in New Zealand as well as globally. About the role: Reporting to the manager, the quality checker is required to perform inspections of products in a timely manner based on the company's needs. Duties and responsibilities include: » Ensuring that the inspection reports are generated and logged » Product pre- and post-dispatch documentation are generated/transmitted to meet shipping deadlines » Quality failures are acted upon within an acceptable timeframe » Robust processes, documentation, systems, and checks in place to ensure quality products are developed and manufactured. » Adopting best practice approaches to quality systems and improvement Skills and Experience » Mechanical Engineering background with experience in Metrology/QC Inspection/Quality, and skills in mechanical measurement » Fully conversant with engineering drawings and drawing standards » Mechanical measurement and visual inspection of parts to engineering drawings, preparation of inspection reports, non-conforming product investigations, and other quality-associated activities » Familiar with quality methods, processes, ethics, and principles, with knowledge of the ISO9001 quality management framework » Detail focused excellent communication skills, the ability to work to priorities and deadlines, and, above all, a willing, can-do attitude to work as part of a team » A hands-on approach with a positive work attitude » PC Literacy Benefits » Work for an international recognized company » Be part of a fun and friendly team » Competitive rates and staff benefits How to apply Click on the link to apply directly or contact Emily at the Adecco Career Centre on 09 365 5729 or alternatively call Emily on 021310414.
