   » Auckland located function supporting the Pacific Islands

   » Seeking an practiced programme manager, with strong leadership abilities expertise
As part of the COVID-19 response IMAC is contracted by the Ministry of Health – Pacific Health Corridors to provide a team to support the COVID-19 Pacific Vaccination Training and Support programme.
With the vaccine roll out in New Zealand in full swing, We are seeking to support our Pacific neighbours with education training for their rollout of an immunisation programme.
The Pacific Education Programme Manager will be responsible for the planning, delivery and monitoring of the IMAC COVID Pacific Vaccination Training and Support programme, ensuring delivery within timelines, scope and budget.
this function will also be responsible for the following:
   » Drafting, development, management and issuance of programme and project plans, schedules, budgets, SOPs, risk management plans and other project documentation
   » Tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools to ensure tasks and milestones are being achieved in a timely manner
   » Project issue/risk management, identifying existing/potential risks and developing strategies and controls to mitigate these
   » Proactively managing changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingencies through effective change management mechanisms
   » Establishing and managing an effective and appropriate project governance structure
   » Preparation of governance reports, project status reports, presentations, agendas etc
   » Setting and continually managing programme expectations with team members and other stakeholders through effective communication
   » capability to navigate and support the differing cultural contexts for the programme in the designated country’s
Other tasks as outlined in the position description.
To be considered for the function you must have the following:
   » A minimum of five years’ programme or project management practice, including a demonstrated track record of delivering large-scale programmes/projects
   » practice using project management tools such as MS Project
   » Demonstrated networking, communication and engagement expertise within Pacific networks and cross-culturally
   » A significant tertiary qualification
   » Budget management practice
   » Excellent stakeholder management expertise
   » practice leading a team
Previous practice in a health related environment such as a DHB or the Ministry of Health would be highly regarded.
