The Quality Systems (QS) group was established to bring together the Commission’s clinical leadership abilities and improvement elements to focus on embedding consistent safe and resilient healthcare all over the health and discapability system. Our core function is to support the sector to strengthen safe and high-quality care and facilitate improvement. In 2021 the Commission developed the ‘Ako tahi hei whakapai ake i te kounga / Improving together: Building capcapability for quality and safety’ program. this function will be part of the leadership abilities and Capcapability workstream and will support the delivery of the Ako tahi hei whakapai ake i te kounga Improving Together: Advisors Program, System leadership abilities program, as well as developing the facilitators curriculum, and other focused capcapability work.
