About us Education Infrastructure Service (EIS), a part of the Ministry of Education, manages the Crown’s second largest property portfolio of around 2,100 schools with a book value of $19.6 billion, the largest payroll in the country, and transportation of over 100,000 students to and from school each day. About this function This Executive adjunct function provides high quality support to the General Manager within the Property Delivery group. The function will include dealing with a wide variety of matters which will often be confidential,sensitive,or urgent, and exercising sound judgement about the most appropriate course of action. The workload connected with this function will be demanding, requiring first class judgement, personalorganisation,and flexibility, as well as an capability to work to absolute deadlines. About you This is a diverse, challenging and compensateing function that demands excellent organisational and communication expertise. You will be resourceful, self-motivated,proactiveand confident in taking responsibility. Ideally you will have proven significant practice relative to the requirements of the function ideally within the public sector, some knowledge/practice in a property related field would be of benefit but is not essential. You will also offer the following: » Excellent verbal and written communication expertise, including the capability to calmly and effectively address complex situations » Attention to detail and excellent time management and organisational expertise » The capability to build and maintain strong relationships across a diverse group of contacts » Creativity and able to assist in developing a good team culture, positively contributing to team meetings and celebrations » practice processing and supporting Ministerial requests is advantageous It’s important what you’ll bring to the team in terms of your attitude and energy!
