The function
You will manage a case load of between 15-30 Support Workers and 160-180 clients across the Hamilton region. Your clients will include the aging population and people with debilitating injuries. There is full flexibility to manage your day as you see fit. Your workload will include:
   » 1-2 client visits per day – these could be new clients or changes to the needs of existing clients
   » Coordinating with the DHB team with new referrals or complementary agencies to support your clients with their needs
   » Creating individual support plans, administration and delivery to the highest standard
   » Staff management – including recruitment, inductions, training, monitoring and managing disciplinary situations with your team
The Ideal Person
We require the following:
   » You must be a registered health professional – a nurse, physio, OT with a current practicing certificate
   » practice managing staff and a confident personality
   » Be physically fit and able to get up and down off the floor
   » Be self-motivated with the capability to juggle the ever-demanding workload
