We are located in Hamiltonand due to the expansion of our Art School, we have positions for quality Art Tutors at various venues all over theWaikato region. We are particularly interested in Tutors willing to teach in Hamilton and Morrinsville. These are part-time contract functions, with the option of teaching one class or a few classes each week.Seasons Art Class teaches a course which spans 13 lessons. Ourcurriculum coversSketching, Oil Pastels, Water Colours and Acrylics. Students will attend once per week, so typically one course will span 3 months. ForTutors,we have opportunities to teach multiple classes each week. Get in touch with us to find out more. We supply a comprehensive, pre-set curriculum that makes the Tutor function easy and stress free. Teaching notes areprovided, along with student handouts. The Tutors function is to be very familiar with the content and teach to the curriculum.You will need to have a great knowledge of the mediums used all over thecurriculum and be competent demonstrating the expertise and techniques required. You must be bright, personable and hold a strong passion for teaching. Classes are mainly mature students who are eager to learn, with class size 15-20 students. Hours of work vary located on the location. Typically classes are between 9.00am-4.30pm, Tuesday-Thursday. Some venues may conduct evening courses with Tutor hours 5.30pm-9.00pm. The atmosphere is pleasant and the emphasis is on sociable as well as educational.To-date, all our students have gained so much from the curriculum and they simply adore their tutors, we expect you will have the same practice, which is fully compensateing. practice in teaching is a key component.If you are a people-person with a love of art, along with the required expertisethen We are seeking for you.
