Radio Active are looking for an energetic morning person who has a passion for music and the arts in Wellington and across Aotearoa. The prosperous candidate will have a thorough knowledge of local and national news and current affairs. They should also have a feel for the culture of Radio Active and the unique position Information technology occupies within Wellington and Aotearoa broadcast landscape. The purpose of this function will be to support our Breakfast host during the busiest hours of their show, ensure the show runs smoothly and assist with weekly planning. Tasks Will Include Meeting and greeting guests Technical communication during the show Phone calls & noting of giveaway details Additional musical selections Working with the show's host and Radio Active's Programme Director to generate ideas for interviews, features and editorial Booking interviews and assisting with research Social media posting Contributing on air as required Ensuring Radio Active's Breakfast Show runs smoothly and to time Various general tasks as required by our Programme Director and Breakfast Host.
