About the position
This is an opportunity for a senior communications professional to work closely with our leadership abilities and investment teams, providing strategic communications advice on transactions, issues and projects, and leading the Guardians' media relations activities in New Zealand and globally.
You will be excited at the prospect of working for a sophisticated, high-performing institutional investor with a global footprint. Your relationship-building expertise and commitment to knowledge the business will see you become a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders. You'll be able to offer insights that add value to the investment process, and to confidently represent the Guardians as a media spokesperson and in meetings with senior stakeholders. Motivated by working for a purpose-led organisation making a real difference for future generations, you will plan ahead, be delivery-focused, reliable and proactive.
This senior position will appeal to a communications specialist who will be trusted and known for their strong relationships, capability to sensitively deliver high quality advice, and integrity.
About you:
   » You will have held a senior communications position in a complex environment where you have established and maintained relationships with a variety of stakeholders
   » With significant media and government relations practice, you will be comfortable dealing with high-profile issues, identifying risks and articulating improvements
   » Your exceptional written and verbal communication expertise allow you the capability to deliver technical investment concepts into an easy-to-understand format
   » With an knowledge of Te Ao M?ori you will help improve our function in a way that honours our commitment to knowledge and integrating Te Ao M?ori
   » You will be able to contribute to the development and execution of the Guardians' overarching communications and wider group strategies.
