Machine OperatorLocation Palmerston NorthManawatu Job type Full Time Salary 30 to 31 Category Manufacturing/Operations > Machine Operators » 4 days on 4 days off - 12 hour shifts » Weekly Pay - PPE gear provided - Variety of work » $30 plus an hour We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring product quality and production goals are met. Key Responsibilities: » Operate and monitor machinery, ensuring proper functioning and safety protocols are followed. » Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines to minimise downtime. » Inspect products for quality and compliance with specifications, making adjustments as needed. » Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to supervisors. » Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment. » Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and resolve operational challenges. » Assist in training new operators and providing support as needed. Qualifications: » Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing environment preferred. » Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. » Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. » Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. » Ability to work a 12-hour shift schedule, including both day and night shifts. Physical Requirements: » Ability to lift and stand for extended periods. » Capable of working in a variety of conditions, including exposure to noise and temperature changes. Requirements: » Living and right to work in NZ » Able to pass a pre employment drug screen. » Complete all pre employment checks.
