With ACC, you’ll be supporting people in Aotearoa to stay safe by minimising the incidence and impact of injury, as well as helping them recover from injury if an accident does happen. As a Procurement Compliance Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting the procurement administration team in providing compliance advice and monitoring, reporting and communicating on financial expenditure and climate change requirements as well as assisting with various property and procurement projects.
ACC plays an important function in supporting injured Kiwi’s and we are key provider of services to the public. The Public Service cannot operate without the trust and confidence of the people we serve, and we work hard at ACC to maintain the trust the public has in us.
A key area of maintaining trust is ensuring that ACC’s expenditure is managed deliberately and diligently and that we are able to justify our spending. The public also trusts our public agencies to deliver on our promise to make NZ Carbon neutral by 2025 and ACC is determined to achieve this target by reducing our corporate emissions by 60% by 2025.
this function is key for helping us achieve the above ambitions of monitoring and justifying our expenditure and ensuring we track and report on our carbon emissions so we can achieve our emissions reduction goal.
What We are seeking for from you to be prosperous in this function:
   » Strong business analytical expertise
   » practice working in a commercial environment, with a preference for practice in the area of climate change reporting and/or sensitive expenditure management
   » Proven relationship management expertise, able to develop and maintain relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
   » capability to prioritise, plan and co-ordinate activities and resources to achieve required objectives
   » Excellent problem-solving expertise, able to anticipate potential problems, examine alternative strategies and develop solutions
