Offer: Senior Test Analyst – Fixed-term:ACC_hainesJob description:Job Description» Java, J2EE, HTML/XML networking, XP, Unix development tools» SOAP, Postman, REST API’s, Azure ADO, Oracle database » Fixed-term until June 2022, Wellington-located functions » Join an organisation that supports and develops your career As a Senior Test Analyst, you will be responsible for all facets of testing and will have a sound knowledge of software development, having used a variety of technologies such as Java, J2EE, HTML/XML, networking, XP, Unix, Websphere, Solaris and Oracle. With ACC, you’ll be supporting people in Aotearoa to stay safe by minimising the incidence and impact of injury, as well as helping them recover from injury if an accident does happen. This position is responsible for developing and implementing automated and manual test cases using leading industry standard tools, troubleshooting software issues and recommending fixes, creating and executing detailed test cases and managing defect tracking. You’re someone who can demonstrate the following: » Develop/implement automated and/or manual test cases » Troubleshoot software issues » Recommend fixes » Create and execute detailed test cases and manage defect tracking » Define, document and execute specific tests » Provide support to the team with the use of tools, technologies and processes » Provide good analytical skill What We are seeking for from you to be prosperous in this function: » Minimum of three years software test or development practice, for applications using a variety of technologies including Java, J2EE, HTML/XML networking, XP, Unix development tools, Websphere application, Solaris, Atlassian’s JIRA and Confluence, Azure ADO, Oracle database » Advanced knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) » Sound knowledge of Testing Methodologies, Tools and processes » practice developing and implementing automated test scripts using leading industry tools such as Selenium » practice with at least one programming or scripting language » Manual and Automation testing practice is preferred » Excellent communication and relationship building expertise Working at ACC We know that a diverse and inclusive team helps us meet the needs of our customers, and we welcome candidates from every ethnicity, national origin, gender identity, age, and those with a discapability or who have additional mental health needs.
