Our riverside cafe / campground / river adventure company sees so many different kinds of guests including heaps of locals on Sundays when we host live music, so confidence around people is a must. This seasonal position is available at the beginning of Oct for training and finishes Mid April. Our location is a riverside haven, far enough away to enjoy relaxed atmosphere, but close enough to town to get what you need. You will need to be a friendly, confident and conscience person. You would work 5 days a week, including 1 day on weekend. Your pay will be dependent on your practice. A current drivers license will be very handy, with practice driving a manaul transmission. Onsite boarding is available for small weekly fee that includes a shared kitchen, wifi and a furnished private room. Laundry facilities also on site. Jobs include: = cleaning campground facilities and the licensed cafe = stock taking and ordering = barista, food handling and bartending = answering phones, money handling and using online booking system We want you to fit well within our tight whanau, so an onsite/video chat interview is preferable. We are happy to train the right person, so full practice is not necessarily required but your postive, confident attitude will make all the difference.
