As a result of promotion, my client is now of the market for an practiced Security manager to supervise all aspects of the NZ operations and Facilities. With initially one direct report growing to two you will build on the strategic plan, ensuring projects within the organisation meet with security standards, set the strategy, and build professional relationships across the business to understand the challenges and opportunities to improve the structure. This is a complex organisation that involves importing and exporting, and subsequently the distribution of goods across the country. Significant security measures are already in place, however there are a number of regulatory bodies and standards that are required to be maintained. Ideally you will be a qualified security professional with broad practice and expertise gained from a law enforcement or military background, coupled with some corporate/commercial practice. Information technology is essential to understand how relationships and internal negotiation works in order to enhance the security culture across key stakeholders.
