Hua Toi's Producing Programme provides hands-on learning opportunities for M?ori artists and aspiring arts professionals all over Aotearoa to develop expertise in producing, marketing and arts administration.We are seeking for a future M?ori arts leader who would benefit from a paid internship with Prospect ParkProductions. income: $900/week (7 weeks) Work Period: 31 January - 18 March 2022 Job location: ?tepoti Dunedin; potential travel to Te Whanganui-a-Tara Wellington The prosperous candidate will assist Prospect Park Productions' Producer on two key projects, the premiere of The World's First Lovers as part of Dunedin Fringe Festival 2022and the BATS Co-Production of Mokomoko in Te Whanganui-a-Tara, gain insight into both company and independent producing practices, and grow industry networks. Key qualities: - whakapapa M?ori - a positive attitude and keenness to learn - comfortable communicating with people - organised, committed and reliable - computer expertise (Microsoft Office, Google Drive, social media) - practice and/or interest in theatre, producing, or the performing arts an advantage - Full Driver's License desirable, but not essential For more information and/or a full position description, email nathan@ngahuatoi.org.
