The Business Improvement and Support team provides support and skills to improve the performance of the group and manage change more effectively for our customers. The key areas of focus are: » support for Business case development » change Management and delivery » business Improvement and » the provision of support and advice for the Deputy Secretary BE&S About this function If you’d like to bring your skills to a compensateing function within an organisation that’s continuously reaching goals and striving for a better future for New Zealand, we’d love to hear from you. You will be able to support change initiatives across the Business Enablement and Support Group and within the Ministry. We are seeking for your capability to work with sponsors, project leads and those being impacted by change, to plan, lead, and coach others through the business improvement process. You will be able to apply your improvement skills and practice both directly and through advice and coaching to enable the other areas within the group to achieve their goals. this function will be focused on supporting the Senior Responsible Owners and stakeholders primarily within the Business Enabling and Support Group and across the Ministry when needed. About you To be prosperous in this function you will have proven demonstrated practice and knowledge in continuous improvement focused on delivering better results for customers You will also offer the following: » Over five years of practice in an improvement leadership abilities function e.g. Lean Six Sigma, supported by an improvement methodology qualification/ certification e.g. Lean Six Sigma, User located design or similar » Skills in collecting and communicating voice of the customer and customer practices to stakeholders » Strong technical, root cause and business analysis skills » practice evaluating and assessing the impacts of change with stakeholders to and capability to provide solutions for managing impacts » A working knowledge of the business case development process and the capability to assess potential change impacts and input into Business Cases You’ll be joining a team that is focused on collaboration and sharing skills and knowledge of all members in the team.
