This is a boutique construction company that specialise in a range of commercial builds under $20M. Many of their current projects and planned projects are within multi-level residential and multi-level commercial projects across north and east Auckland
The culture is social, they are a good down to earth kiwi bunch working hard and enjoying what they do. They operate a flatter structure with a focus on the quality of workplace culture.
Due to more awarded work,  they have a need for a site manager to join the team
 
Key Responsibilities include
·         Managing a construction programme and updating where necessary
·         superviseing site and ensuring a team are working to time and budget
·         superviseing sub-contractors
·         Problem solving and seeking out solutions for any arising issues
·         Attending site meetings/PCG meetings where required
·         QA/Quality Control
·         knowledge building plans, ordering materials and any council requirements compliance
·         Any mentoring where required
·         Liaising with external consultants and the client
 
Your background:
   » You have at least 5 years Site Manager practice in Commercial construction
   » You are carpentry trade qualified
   » You can effectively manage relationships with sub-contractors and external consultants
   » You are strong in H&S knowledge and application
   » A strong team player and able to contribute to a team environment positively
   » Able to use and navigate around MS Project
   » A strong problem solver
   » Strong planning and organisational expertise
 
Package: $120K - $130K + vehicle
