Working at the Department of Internal Affairs, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of New Zealanders.
The Principal Advisor Communications works across the organisation to lead, connect, inspire, identify and leverage communications opportunities and complex projects.
The function also acts as a trusted partner for senior leaders, works in close collaboration with teams across the organisation, and mentors Communication Advisors to build professional development.
We're looking for a senior and practiced communications specialist with at least 10-15 years' practice and has a broad range of well-developed communications expertise. In exchange, we can offer you a great working environment and opportunities you won't get anywhere else.
The Communications team sits within Organisational Capcapability and Services, a branch dedicated to supporting the Department to succeed by providing corporate services to our branches and people.
