The Opportunity
This client has been involved in an organisation-wide system implementation, which has seen a significant number of legacy systems merged into one. As a result of this, and events over the last few years, the timeframe has been extended, but Information technology is now in the final phase of the lead-up to go-live. The function We are after an practiced, hands-on Training Developer to work with the Training Lead, to evaluate, develop, and deliver learning materials, to ensure all users across the organisation are RWA to adjust to and utilise the new system and its processes. There are numerous sites all over the Waikato, so you will be required to present both in person and virtually, or a combination of both, depending on the audience and their location. The initial phase will be a training needs analysis followed by development of e-learnings, support guides, system navigation videos, and voice recording. You will then be involved in the facilitation and delivery of training, webinars, and drop-in sessions, plus creating user documentation. In other words, the end-to-end process. About You We're after someone who is hands-on but also understands the full business process, from implementation through to delivery and user ?use?. You'll likely be tertiary qualified in a significant field, although practice of prosperous delivery will trump specific qualifications! The following will give an idea of the type of practice we are after: » Likely 5+ years' in development of training activities/materials for system related projects » Development of learning needs analysis and learning curriculums » Design, creation and delivery of digital/online training content, learning sessions and webinars » Having operated in a change environment that in itself changes rapidly. » Exceptional communication expertise, both written and verbal, plus being an exceptional listener! » Flexible and adaptable and with the capability to establish and maintain strong relationships, and influence those involved in the process. You will also need some technical expertise to include video editing, user documentation, e-learning development, voice recording, plus TEAMS webinars and breakout rooms.
