They will be responsible for the operation of our extremely busy Restaurant & Bar during their shift and will provide excellent customer service. You will absolutely love working at this cool, trendy restaurant and bar which is nestled amongst a thriving tourist and local community. The owner/operators are passionate and truly switched on about what they do, which is reflective in every detail. The food on offer is fresh, honest & delicious local fare and the décor is unique, modern and warm. From date nights to after-work brews, families to hens dos this trend setting venue is the multi-purpose restaurant and bar perfect for all types of occasions. You will be responsible for the below list of tasks: * Assist in the smooth running of the restaurant & bar * Manage cash drawers and be meticulous in cash handling * Ensure that the premise is always kept in neat and presentable manner * Manage restaurant staff on your shift * Maintain good customer service and responding to customer complaints * Answer customer enquiries through phone calls, social media and emails and organise group bookings, the reservation book and table layout and turnover * Maximise sales by advising customers of continuing promotions, rituals and deals * Ensure that the work place complies with health and safety and liquor licenses policy requirements Ideally you will have the following attributes: * Reflect our passion for good food and beverages * Provide superb customer service and a commitment to our current clientele while demonstrating your capacity to develop new business * A dynamic personality and positive outlook * Readily embrace being part of a team and making work fun * A mature person who can handle responsibilities during their shift * Tertiary qualification preferred but not mandatory * A current General Managers Certificate or completed the LCQ Certificate and with 6 months industry practice to ensure you can apply for the General Managers Certificate Accommodation is available if required.
