Reporting directly to the Operations Manager based in Auckland, you will provide leadership to the Palmerston North site with a continual focus on improving safety, process and quality performance to achieve and maintain an effective world-class, low-cost washing facility. You will supervise, provide support and co-ordinate shift resources to ensure the production plan is completed to meet quality requirements in the most effective manner. To be successful you will ideally have the following: » Proven leadership, mentoring and team management experience » Packaging or FMCG experience » Strong planning and organisational skills » A good understanding of Lean principles (desirable) » Intermediate computer skills in MS Word & Excel » Excellent written and verbal communication skills » Strong attention to detail You will have strong problem-solving skills, be highly motivated and work well in a team environment. Your mature outlook, positive attitude, and your proactive nature will see you excel in this role.
