At the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA), H?pai Hapori - Community Operations supports iwi,hap? and communities to lead their own development.

   » Generate positive impacts inhap?and communities
   » Give effect tohap?and community aspirations
   » Kaitiakitanga or stewardship of resources to enable empowered communities
Your background will include a combination of:
   » Hap? led or community led or Pacific led development practice
   » Community advisory or community practitioner practice
   » Secretariat or funding administration practice in the Private or Public Sectors
   » Other significant practice
Some travel is involved across Tai Tokerau, and a driver’s licence is essential.
You will have a professional attitude and be able to demonstrate:
   » expertise, expertise, and practice in providing advice that builds and empowers the communities,hap?, iwi, marae, and voluntary organisations
   » excellent relationship management and collaboration expertise
   » public service integrity
   » strong communication and report writing expertise
   » practice in online grant management
   » data analysis and analytical expertise including the capability to interpret financial information
