The function is located at the Auckland District Court, but you will the opportunity to work in other court libraries in the Auckland Region and travel to other courts is required from time to time. As a member of the Judicial Libraries team you will be responsible for delivering library and information services to the Judges, judicial support and court staff in courts in your region. Judicial Libraries/He puna m?tauranga ture provides high quality library and information services to support judicial decision making and the operation of the courts. You will play an integral part in ensuring Judicial Libraries meets the information needs of the judiciary – now and in the future. It is a function to which you will be able to bring your practice of providing special library research and information services in a legal or service-oriented organisation. Judicial Libraries is reviewing the way we deliver training and the research and current consciousness services we offer. We are also expanding our electronic resources collections and there is a particular focus on M?tauranga M?ori in the services we offer and how that contributes to Te Ao M?rama. You will have the opportunity to be involved in some or all of those projects. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone wishing to work with the Judiciary and the Judicial Libraries team. We are seeking for a self-starter who will also work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver quality services to our stakeholders.
