Marketing Coordinator

• Opportunity to work with some of NZ's largest home furnishing brands

The Employer :
This family owned and operated business is one of the largest flooring and furnishing retailers in the Waikato & Bay of Plenty region, with over 40 years of prosperous trading. My client has world-leading brands in Furniture, Bedding and Appliances in multiple stores across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty. This is a tremendous opportunity to work in a unique retail and family-orientated environment. For the right person with the right background, this function is flexible start times.
The function:
A maternity cover, until November, with flexibility of hours – minimum 25 per week. this function reports directly to the Marketing Manager in a small team of 3 (including you). While this is a located in Te Rapa, there is the capability to work in the house some of the week. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Big Commerce eCommerce website, including:

• Managing the online sales process and customer practice
• Managing content for products and cross-platform promotions
• Developing and amplifying content across digital media
• Actively answering live chat customer contacts and social conversations
• Maintain product and pricing information
• Running and managing business profiles across social media, optimising paid advertising for maximum gains
The right person:
this function requires a highly organised personality who thrives on providing an exceptional customer practice online. You will be;
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Premier Pro, Canva or similar content creation tools
• A hands-on person who enjoys being at the coal-face of eCommerce / Big Commerce management
• Be savvy within the back end of website management
• Someone who brings a logical approach to website management
• A great communicator, passionate about your team & the practice you are providing
• Ideally you will have Big Commerce practice
• A personality that loves to interact with customers, enjoys learning more about digital media and increasing the effectiveness of our messaging.
