The Team:What we do this function will see you providing quality administrative support to the Kaiwhakahaere and the Hauora M?ori team. You will also be responsible for the management of Te Whare Mahana. Te Whare Mahana is an accommodation facility for wh?nau who are supporting a wh?nau member using the Christchurch Hospital services. This facility is offered to all peoples of New Zealand. The function:Where you fit in In this function you will provide administrative support to the Kaiwhakahaere Hauora M?ori (M?ori Health Team Leader) and the Director Allied Health on the Christchurch Hospital Campus. In this function, you will be responsible for as follows: » Administration tasks within a close r?p? » Conversational Te reo M?ori me ng? Tikanga is a requirement of this position » Whakawhanaungatanga is a value that you will bring to this position » Administration of Te Whare Mahana – Emergency accommodation for those from out of town (Outside 100kms of Christchurch) » Administer Te Komiti Whakarite – The CDHB M?ori research consultation committee, required to process research applications for CDHB Researchers » Provide support to the Allied Health Administration team Leader, and Administration Team as needed » Represent Hauora M?ori on the Christchurch Campus Health and Safety committee » Provide Information technology support to kaiwhakahaere and M?ori Health staff as needed » Data entry for statistical and reporting purposes » Typing and distributing minutes » Maintain office environment: » Sorting incoming and outgoing mail » Ordering stationary and supplies » Managing enquires/Referrals » Maintain and keep database information up to date Your skills will include as follows: » Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Word) » Typing and data entry skills » Attention to detail and accuracy » Intermediate level of Te reo me ?na tikanga » Microster practice would be advantageous but we will provide training » expertise of and commitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and biculturalism Our Culture:What matters to us Ko ng? t?ngata, te m?tua mahi Putting people at the heart of all we do Health is ultimately all about people.
