The Lodge is unique in it's style and we pride ourselves on providing genuine and friendly Kiwi hospitality along with amazing food. We live in an extraordinary natural landscape with a large lake, mountains, river valleys and walking trails on our back door step so if you love the outdoors, this position could be for you. We are a medium to large family run business catering for groups, weddings, cyclists on the Alps2Ocean cycle trail and tours over summer. We are the Ohau family and we treat every guest as if they were a guest in our own home. We choose positive and happy people who will work as a team and who will go that extra distance, offering that personal touch to make our guests feel welcome. We have accommodation on site which is $110/week and we provide 3 meals a day for $90/week making a total of $200 which is deducted from your fortnightly wages. You will work mostly 5 days per week. We are seeking for someone who can make a really good coffee. You would take the order, make the coffee and post to the guest's account. That would mostly be your morning function although you may swap around and wait on guests for the breakfast shift and in the evening you would work alongside the team in the restaurant waiting on tables, clearing plates, washing dishes, cleaning the restaurant and setting tables for the next day.
