Practice Lead

If this sounds like you, then we have an amazing opportunity for a Practice Lead to join our Change Implementation team
About the function:
The Practice Lead is responsible for providing practice leadership abilities across the wider Change Implementation team who support three Service Delivery Portfolios (Employment, Housing and earnings Support) and wider enabling portfolios.
As an expert in Change Management, you will lead the current framework and practice standards, processes, and knowledge resources, ensuring there is consistent use and knowledge of these tools across portfolios.
The day-to-day activities of a Practice Lead can vary, including:
• Providing coaching and mentoring support for practitioners
• Supporting recruitment and induction
• Uplifting practice capcapability through workshops and our Change Network
• Providing best practice advice and guidance for portfolios
As a Practice Lead for Change Management, you will report directly to the Director of Change for MSD and work alongside fellow practice Change Leads to collectively, uplift Change practitioners and the way they are utilised all over the delivery of work.
We are seeking for someone that has the desire to build a strong support structure for our people, giving them a safe space to lgain and develop their expertise and capabilities.

• Knowledge and practice of Change Management practices, methodology and thinking
• Demonstrated practice in leading significant Change initiatives in a large business
• Strong customer service (user-centred) ethic, and the capability to understand the wider context of improvement and innovation in delivering better public services
• practice in developing good coaching relationships with leaders and staff
• Strong partnership builder, with the capability to work with and influence leaders at different levels of the organisation
• capability to coach others in applying change techniques in complex work settings
• expertise and practice in facilitating group sessions and workshops
