Let's go change the world – let's Cogo! ABOUT THE function: this function works closely with our Platform and Security team supporting multiple products across the world. There’s plenty of opportunity to learn, build new things and grow. As part of a small team you'll have a large impact on the technical direction of the platform, and play a big part in supporting the future growth of Cogo globally. Responsibilities include: » Working collaboratively with the platform and development teams to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and deployment tooling to meet our requirements » Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code » Working with the Lead DevOps engineer to ensure Site Relicapability » Troubleshooting problems across a wide array of services and functional areas CRITICAL COMPETENCIES: » Solid technical abilities, problem-solving, design, coding and debugging expertise » practice building and maintaining AWS infrastructure using code like Cloudformation or Terraform » knowledge of CICD pipelines » Solid knowledge of cloud security » capability to lgain and use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools NICE-TO-HAVE practice: » On call practice » practice in, or an interest in Site Relicapability Engineering OUR TECHNOLOGY: Cogo is built on the following technologies: » JavaScript, Elixir, Python » ReactNative and React » Typescript » GraphQL, NodeJS, Django » Amazon Web Services (CloudFront, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, Lambda) » PostgreSQL » Docker Direct practice with some or all of the above is a plus, but above all we'd expect you to be adaptable to working with new technologies and ideas, while having a solid base of practice to draw on.
