The Learning and Development Lead – Mana Taurite will develop and embed learning modules for our COVID Vaccination service to support our non-M?ori employees to deliver the best service user practice for our M?ori service uses.
About the function – Atu mo te mahi
The Learning and Development Lead – Mana Taurite will develop and facilitate prosperous learning modules for our COVID Vaccination service, in collaboration with Whakarongorau Aotearoa’s Learning Team and wider Service User practice Team. Our non-M?ori employees will be competent and have the capability to support our M?ori Service Users on their virtual journey with Whakarongorau Aotearoa.
You will perform the following tasks:
   » Develop impactful learning for our COVID Vaccination service to embed M?ori learning modules for non-M?ori employees
   » Utilise modern and digital design and delivery methods to create bespoke learning modules for our COVID Vaccination service, specifically tailored for our call centre environment
   » Ensure learning modules can be delivered prosperously to a remote workforce, whilst ensuring our employees feel supported and competent
   » Work closely with the Service Delivery Manager of the COVID Vaccination service to ensure operational needs are supported, specifically regarding delivery of learning
   » Provide stakeholders with updated feedback and delivery reports ensuring all significant stakeholder feedback feeds back into learning improvements
   » Collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager to ensure the learning modules deliver measurable results to link learning to improved service delivery
   » Complete a post delivery gap and training needs analysis alongside the People Leaders in the COVID Vaccination team to create and facilitate follow up learning as required
   » Ensure accurate records are maintained in Akoranga (our learning management system)
About you – Pehea koe
Qualifications and practice:
   » Tertiary qualification and/or adult learning qualification are desirable
   » At least three years’ practice in development and improvement of adult learning programmes and connected materials
   » At least three years’ practice in coaching, mentoring or training adult learners
   » practiced in using an LMS or similar database administration
   » Previous practice in a healthcare setting is desirable
   » Fluent in Te Reo M?ori and the English language
   » Ideally knowledgeable of Te Whare Tapa Wh? (M?ori model of health)

   » A sound knowledge, knowledge and application of Te Reo M?ori and Tikanga
   » Proven capability to engage effectively with M?ori and non- M?ori and advise on equity focused approached
   » Knowledgeable of health inequalities and priority populations
   » Exceptional communication and interpersonal expertise, including the capability to engage well with others and positively influence results
   » capability to work effectively with people from a range of different cultures
   » A strong knowledge of Government and the Treaty of Waitangi
   » capability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
